Instruction Tai Chi 8 Movements – Posture 3 – Ward Off Right
1.Transition: shift your entire weight to the left; the right hand moves in front of the left groin, the left hand in front of the left shoulder. The palms are facing each other as if one held a ball. Rotate a bit to the left.
2.Lift your right heel and turn your body right into the diagonal direction.
3. Make a step with your right foot diagonally to the right, to prepare the bow stance; the heel touches the ground first.
4. Shift your weight to the right. Releasing/letting go: The hands rotate slightly outwards, led by the pinky fingers. The torso turns slightly to the right.
5. Activating: Straightening up, the right hand rises to the central line to protect the right side, the left hand. Gaze and hip face into the full direction.
