Tai Chi: 7 Stars Partner Exercise
The 7 Stars Partner Routine is an excellent system for training the key ingredients required for tai chi tui shou (push hands.) The main component of this routine is in training the ability to step back and sideways, from an on-coming opponent, in an effective and spontaneous manner. The arm work trains sensitivity, awareness, distance and intent.
